At Auchenlarie Holiday Park near Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway, they have LAUNCHED an innovative dining experience ….. in a boat! Yes, they have built a boat – The Smuggler’s Tryst – in their Surfside Bistro Restaurant and they are having the official launch on Saturday 15 April. Everyone is welcome.
Auchenlarie Holiday Park owner Paul Swalwell said “We will be joined by Fleet Bay In-Shore Rescue. They will be bringing their rescue boat along so you can see for yourself what their boat is like, talk to the guys and find out what they do. A very valuable service along this coast line.
We shall be running a raffle, with terrific prizes, including a weekend break in one of our Luxury Hot Tub Static Holiday Homes and a 32″ HD LED TV. Proceeds will go to the In-Shore Rescue operation and towards the purchase of a defibrillator for Auchenlarie Holiday Park. Enjoy a glass of bubbly too!”
Paul continued “It all starts at 12 noon. The official launch will be 12.30pm then you can tuck into a meal whilst sitting in the boat overlooking the bay. Our full, delicious menu will be available. There is entertainment for children in the Starlight Suite; an Easter Fun Day with Peter Panda and friends; face painting; Easter Bonnet competition and a UV Puppet Show. “
