The crew of Nith Inshore Rescue will hold their annual fund raising open day at the Caerlaverock Boat House this Saturday 14:00 to 18:00.
As well as the lifeboat “St John” and various rescue equipment on display the event will be attended by Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists, HM Coastguard, Scottish Fire & Rescue, Police, Moffat Mountain Rescue, Scottish Ambulance Service, Blood Bikes, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, MY-POD and there will be entertainment from Dumfries Community Choir and Dumfries Pipe Band.
A large number of motorcyclists, along with the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists, will complete their annual charity fund raising run at the boat house.
A barbecue, refreshments and bouncy castle will also be available.
The public are welcome to attend the event and take part in the open day and allow Nith Rescue to share in thanking all who have kindly donated to our service.
