The RBWF are delighted to be holding their Annual General Meeting and Conference in Dumfries on 9th-11th September.
The event being held in the Cairndale Hotel in the town is a major economic and cultural coup for the town and region in general. Delegates from the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and all over the UK will meet for a weekend of tours of the Burns Quarter in Dumfries, lectures and cultural visits to Ellisland Farm and Annandale Distillery.
A Gala Dinner will be held on the Saturday night with top table guests, Fiona Armstrong, Lord Lieutenant of Dumfries and Provost Tracey Little also of Dumfries. Following the church service held in St. Michael’s Church on Sunday morning, a wreath laying ceremony will be held at the Burns Mausoleum.
