On our screens most Sunday evenings as part of one of the most popular TV shows, TV presenter, author and farmer Adam Henson visited Lloyd Ltd at Heathhall Dumfries yesterday Wedenesday the 22nd of November 2017 to do a book signing during the day, and a talk to an invited audience in the Evening.
Adam Henson is a well-known figure both within and outside the agricultural community. Making farming interesting and accessible to people in both urban and rural communities alike is no easy feat, but Adam’s passion and enthusiasm make him an engaging and authoritative presenter.
Adam was at LLoyd Ltd a local agricultural machinery specialist and Isuzu dealer’s state of the art premises at Dumfries from 2:30pm until 4:30pm signing copies of his books “A Farmer and His Dog”, “Like Farmer Like Son” and “Adam’s Farm: My Life on the Land”. This was a great opportunity for anyone to meet Adam and he was kept busy all afternoon meeting people who wanted to stock up on what will no doubt be popular Christmas presents!

Lloyd Ltd’s Dealer Principal, Stuart Dalton, told DGWGO:
This was a real coup for us to get someone of Adam’s calibre here to our branch. As agricultural machinery dealers we are always glued to Countryfile and we know many of our customers are too. As the Isuzu dealer for the area, we are delighted that Adam has chosen to use an Isuzu as his works vehicle.”
Stuart continued “It was genuinely exciting to have Adam here and there was a real buzz among the team at our branch as well as from our customers. We were delighted to welcome him and to introduce him to rural life in this part of the country. We are sure that everyone who came to meet him enjoyed his company and his anecdotes.
