POLICE Reports that between 7pm on 3rd March – 3.30pm 4th March 2022, a red coloured Honda 500 Quad Bike (as attached picture) was stolen from Rigg Farm, A76, 1 mile north of Kirkconnel.
A police spokesperson said “It is believed that the suspect(s) have pushed the quad bike from within a barn over the field towards the A76 road where they have then cut a 3 metre gap in the wire fence and removed the quad into an unknown vehicle.
If anyone was driving along the A76 road during these times and have seen or heard anything suspicious, please contact us on 101 or call into Sanquhar Police Station and quote reference number PDG0048020322”
