C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their Christmas Show & Sale of Young Calves at Dumfries on Monday, which was kindly sponsored by CCIB Ltd.
The calves were ably judges by Mr Brian Ramsay, who found his Champion in a Charolais x calf from Messrs S N Graham, Hillend, Annan, which later sold for £440 to the judge. An excellent and quality show of calves was forward to a large ringside of buyers keen for calves.

The days judge Roy McKelvey, Burnside found his Champion from M Young & Sons, Waterside Mains, with a well balanced fresh calves Holstein Fresian heifer selling at £1500.
