On Wednesday 28th March, Dumfries and Galloway Young Farmers held their Club of the Year Competition at the Murray Arms Hotel, Gatehouse. The 5 clubs were judged by Mr Tom Neill, Mr Mike Halliday and Mrs Sharon Hiddleston. They were very impressed with the high standard from the clubs. Well done to all the clubs taking part.
Machars Young Farmers team of Andrew Hunter-Blair, Sarah Walker and Kathryn Robinsom represented the Club. A huge achievement for the club being placed first and will now go and represent the District at West on Sunday 8th April at Lanark Market.
