Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Tuesday 7^th February 2017 had forward 1351 prime hoggs and 218 cast sheep.

1351 prime hoggs sold to average 168.04 (SQQ 170.78).  All classes were very similar to last weeks trade.

Top today was £85 for an outstanding Texel hogg from Messrs Campbell, Tappit Lane, Port William and to 192ppk from Messrs Craig, Compstonend.

218 cast sheep were sharper again.  Averaging £62.55 and selling to £108 for Texels from Lennox Plunton with Mules to £75 and Blackface to £57.50.
