373 Store Cattle topped at £1520 for Limousin bullocks from Messrs Sharp, Barscarrow and to 280.78ppk for Charolais bullocks from Cardoness Farms Heifers sold to £1350 again for Charolais from Scroggiehill Farming and to 276.5ppk for Charolais from Messrs Davidson, Poldean.
108 OTM Cattle sold to a strong trade, topping at £2044.40 and 269ppk for a Limousin Bull from Messrs Hansell, Nether Barr. Cows sold to £1821.04 for a Simmental from Messrs Lindsay, Culnaightrie and 235ppk for from Messrs Milroy Pinwherry.
2186 Store lambs were easily cashed again to a large ringside of buyers topping to £97 for Beltex lambs from Radley Pedigree Livestock, Loaningfoot.

Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Tuesday 13 September 2022 had forward prime and cast sheep.
1214 prime lambs sold to average 228.93ppk. Top today was £123.50 for heavy Texels from Littleton Cottage, Gatehouse of Fleet. Top per kilo was 266.7 for Beltex from Wheatcroft, Castle Douglas.
Please ensure lambs are presented with clean tails as there are a few coming through that haven’t been tidied up.
899 Cast sheep topped at £241 for Texel ewes from Messrs Smith, Low Arkland, with Scotch Mules to £127 from Messrs Campbell, Tappit Lane and Blackface to £89 from Messrs Donnan, Knockiebae. Rams topped at £188 for Suffolks from Horsecrook.
