Despite an easing of deadweight prices cows remained a wonderful trade. OTMs sold to a top of £2054.35 for an Angus bull from Palmallet Farms, with cows to £2009.25 for an Angus from Messrs Lindsay, Culnaightrie. Top per kilo was 269ppk for an Angus cow from Messrs Walker, Mindork
Store Cattle sold to a super trade and to £1280 for Angus heifers from new consignor Messrs Lammie, Low Drummore and 320.2ppk from the same home

395 New Season lambs sold to average 310.53 (SQQ 312.42) Top today was £152.50 for Texels from Messrs Dale-Sunley, Ross Farm with top per kg being 328.6ppk for Texels from Messrs McCornick, Barnbackle.
137 prime hoggs sold to average 240.87ppk. Top today was £157 for heavy Texel hoggs from Messrs Ambler, Craigdhu and 295 ppk for Blackface from Speddoch Farm Partnership.
Cast sheep sold to £160 for Texel ewes from Messrs Dale-Sunley, Ross Farm with Scotch Mules to £114 from Messrs Grierson, Sandfield and Blackface to £106 from Speddoch.
