Wallets Marts Castle Douglas sold 617 Store and OTM cattle
314 Bullocks topped £1460 for Limousin bullocks from Messrs Mitchell, Little Larg and 303.4ppk for Limousin bullocks from Gleniron Farmers, Gleniron and 245 heifers topped at £1515 for Angus’ from Messrs Robb, Trolane and to 268.6ppk for Limousins from Messrs Mitchell, Little Larg.
658 Store lambs topped at £120 for Texels from Upper Ardmannnoch Farm and Eastlands.
Trade for OTM cattle was absolutely bouncing and sold to £1637.85 for Angus from Messrs Lindsay, Culnaightrie and 211ppk for Charolais from Messrs Corsan, Arvie

1571 Prime hoggs sold to average 255.1 (SQQ 258.5)
Top today was £136.50 for heavyweight Texels from Messrs Heughan, Townhead of Greenlaw with top per kilo being 300ppk for Beltex hoggs from Messrs Campbell, Carsewalloch.
400 cast sheep topped today at £217 for Texel ewes from Messrs McMillan,Carse of Clary, with Scotch Mules to £135 from Torhousekie and Flathill and Blackface to £117 from Drumbreddan.
