Monday madness in the cow ring at Wallets!
Cows were a massive trade with a top of 240ppk and 16 selling at over 2ppk.
These 16 cows averaged 214.2ppk with a top price of £1958 for a British Blue cow from Little Galdenoch.
The overall average for the day was a whopping 193.69 for all cows sold, which could be top average in the country on the day.

Bullocks topped at £1535 for Limousins from Messrs Borthwick, Shangan and 304.3ppk again for Limousins this time from Herries Farms, Lantonside
Heifers topped at £1370 for Limousin from Messrs Borthwick, Shangan and 270.3ppk for Charolais from Messrs Mair, Bargatton.
489 store lambs topped at £116 for Beltex lambs from Mossnae, with Texels to £110 and Cheviots to £100 both from Pinclanty.
A small entry of ewes and lambs sold to £70 per life for Mule ewes with Suffolk lambs from Messrs Haining, High Drum.

Top today was £137.50 for Texel from Messrs Weir, Falbae and top per kilo today was 290 for Beltex from Messrs McMiken, Nether Ernambrie
Ewe trade was hot!
308 cast sheep topped today at £215 for a Texel ewe from Messrs Black, Hillside and rams to £191 for Cheviot from Messrs Galloway, Kirkhaugh.
