Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Monday 6th December 2021 held their fortnightly sale of Store and OTM Cattle and Store lambs.
Bullocks sold to £1350 for Limousin from Messrs Sharp, Barscarrow and 259.4 for Limousin from Messrs McNeil, Carseriggan. Heifers sold at £1290 for Angus from Dr Locke, Park of Tongland and 240.2 for Limousin from Messrs Sharp, Barscarrow.
Bulls sold to £920 for Belted Galloways from Irelandton and 171 for Belted Galloways from same home.
OTM cattle sold at £1303.90 for Angus cow from Messrs Dunlop, Cannee and £1440.18 for Simmental from same home.
1334 store lambs sold at £125 for Beltex’s from Messrs Jardine, Upper Hardland.
