Queen of the South Ladies travelled to Dalbeattie on Sunday to take on Dalbeattie Ladies in a League Cup group game.

Queens took a bit of time to stamp their authority on the game, with the score tied at 0-0 until the 43rd minute when Grace Gilmour scored.
This was the catalyst that Queens needed, and within a minute of the second half kicking off, they had doubled their lead through Holly Ovens.
Holly added Queens third after 51 minutes and the floodgates opened, with further goals from Abbie Dunlop (57), Kirsty Macdonald (68), Holly Ovens(79) and Lois Geddes (86). With two competitive games now played in the League Cup, Queens maintain their 100% record.
