Dumfries Y Gymnasts Perform Well at the Cumbernauld Celebration of Life Competition

Gymnasts from Dumfries Y Gymnastics Club’s 4-Piece Competitive squad travelled to Cumbernauld Gymnastics Club to take part in their Celebration of Life Levels Competition this weekend.

In the Level 6 Age 9 Years competition Sophie Collins and Macey Byers placed 2^nd= on Vault.

In the Level 6 Age 10 Years competition Kara Forson placed 2^nd on Vault, 5^th on Bars, 8^th on Beam and was awarded a Bronze medal for finishing 3^rd overall.  Marcie Gourlay placed 1^st on Vault and 7^th on Bars, Connie Hulme placed 3^rd on Floor and 9^th on Vault and Hope Humphreys placed 4^th on Vault.

In the Level 6 Age 11 Years competition Ellie Prentice placed 2^nd on Beam, 4^th on Floor, 5^th on Vault finishing 8^th overall.

In the Level 5 Age 10 Years competition Eilidh Ramsay placed 1^st on Beam, 2^nd on Vault, 9^th on Floor, 10^th on Bars and won a Silver medal for finishing 2^nd overall.

In the Level 5 Age 11 Years category Gemma Todd placed 4^th on Vault, 4^th on Floor, 5^th on Beam and was awarded with a Ribbon for finishing 5^th overall.

In the Level 5 Age 12/13 Years competition Lauren True placed 3^rd on Beam and 7^th on Vault.

Members of the Boy’s Floor and Vault squad will travel to Perth this weekend to compete in the Scottish Gymnastics Floor and Vault competition.
