Gymnasts from Dumfries Y Gymnastics Club attended the Scottish Gymnastics Men’s Artistic
Gymnastics Floor and Vault competition in Perth last weekend.
Head Coach, Steven McKinnel, said “This is the first time the Club has ever competed in a Scottish
Gymnastics Men’s Artistic competition. They have worked really hard in training for it and we are
delighted with how they performed.”
Scores were as follows:
Beginner Under 10 Years
Boyd Sibbring: Floor 10.80 (6th ), Vault 11.65 (5th ), Total 22.45 (4th )
Cullen Farrell: Floor 10.90 (5th ), Vault 11.10 (9th ), Total 22.00 (8th =)
Gymnasts from the 4-Piece competitive section will travel to Perth at the end of the month to
compete in the Scottish Gymnastics Voluntary Level 4 competition.
With now over 330 members, Dumfries Y Gymnastics Club has Competitive, Development and Floor
and Vault competitive squads as well as gymnasts in Boys, Recreational, Fun4Baby and Pre-School
classes and their recently added GymDance group.
