Queen of the South are pleased to announce that Mark Millar and Lewis Kidd have today signed an extension to their current contracts. The new deals keep the players at Palmerston until 2016.
Speaking about the duo, manager James Fowler, said “Mark is a quality player, who brings a lot of experience to the side. He joined us in the middle of this campaign, so it’s great to get him tied up ready for pre-season where we hope to utilise his quality to help develop the younger players”.
“As for Lewis he is a player who has come on leaps and bounds, his progression through the season has been massive. He’s another youngster who has impressed me and another who I believe has a huge future ahead of him.”
“The signing of the two along with the re-signings that we’ve already made shows the intentions we have. Talks with other players are still on going and we’ll look to bring in others over the summer”.
