Queen of the South Girls U17 team start the league season this Sunday with an away game against Central Girls U17s at Grangemouth.
This is the first time that Queens have had a team at this age group and it is expected to be an extremely competitive league, with teams from Celtic, Glasgow City, St Mirren, Morton & Falkirk taking part.
The girls have been in pre-season training since the middle of January in some extremely inclement weather, and they have played a number of friendly fixtures against Queens U15 Girls, Millenium, Annan Ladies, Penrith Ladies, Carnmoney U17s (from Belfast), Celtic U17 Girls & Giffnock.
Home fixtures will again be at the NWCC, but on Sundays rather than Saturdays.
