Queens U15 Whites had a very difficult fixture, away to Glasgow City’s National Performance team in the second round of the Scottish Cup.
Right from the kick off it was obvious that it was going to be a tough day at the office. Glasgow City played the ball quickly and with precision, playing around our girls. Queens worked extremely hard to try to win the ball and then do something with it when they had it.
Even after going behind to some well worked goals, QoS continued to try and play football. In the end Glasgow City had a comfortable victory, but they play at a higher level and the Queens girls will learn from the experience.
Glasgow City’s coaches awarded Player of the Match to Demi for her tireless work in goals and some amazing saves.
