Queen of the South are attempting to make their mark on world football, by following in the footsteps of some of the top football clubs around the globe.
We are pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with Internationally recognized kit manufactures Macron, who will produce our kit for the next three years.
The Italian based company, who have branches in England, already supply football teams from different countries, such as Motherwell, Lazio, Aston Villa, Millwall, RCD Mallora and Hajduk Split and of course Bolton Wanderers, who play at the Macron Stadium. They are also suppliers of the Scotland national rugby team.
Announcing the deal, Queens Chairman, Billy Hewitson said “We are delighted to have struck a deal with such a well known and recognized company. The fact that so many well known teams around the world, wear their kit is a sign of the quality that they produce. It’s another step forward for Queen of the South and we hope the deal with Macron proves to be another success for the club”.
Queens commercial manager, Victoria Thomson said “It’s great to move forward with Macron. It’s the first time in years we have been given the opportunity to design a bespoke home kit that is individual to the club. We’re looking forward to this exciting adventure”.
Macron Country Manager, Andrea Palilla added “We are very proud to start this relationship with such a prestigious club as Queen of the South FC. We feel with this agreement we have been able to consolidate Macron presence in Scotland and also as a major player in the UK market. I want to truly thank club chairman Billy Hewitson and Commercial manager, Victoria Thomson for confirming the agreement and we welcome him and Queen of the South to the increasing Macron Family. We are now working together closely with the club in order to create a unique shirt for next season that will surely be appreciated by the fans and players”.
