It was a local derby on Sunday as Dalbeattie Star Ladies hosted Queen of the South Ladies in a league match.
Queens took the lead after 15 minutes through Alexandra Connon and added further goals from Lois Geddes, playing her final game before heading to the USA, Hayley Crosbie, Lois Geddes again, Sonya Carruthers and Holly Ovens to make the score 6-0 at half time. Lois Geddes completed her hat trick in the 50th minute, Freya Brown added an eighth, Haylie Crosbie made it nine, and Queens reached double figures when Amy Craik scored with 25 minutes still remaining.
Grace Gilmour then took over, scoring a 9 minute hat trick, with Hayley Crosbie completing her own hat trick in the 78th minute. With two minutes to go Grace Gilmour grabbed her fourth to make the final score Dalbeattie Star Ladies 0 Queens Ladies 15.
