Queen of the South Ladies wasted no time in wrapping up the three points against St Mirren Ladies at Linwood on Sunday.
Goals from Holly Ovens in the 9th minute and Haylie Crosbie after 14 minutes were enough to earn the win that lifted Queens above their opponents and into 4th in the league table with 2 games remaining until the league split.
With Queens now assured of a top half finish, they are still in with a chance of promotion, although the post-split games against the other teams in the top half are certain to be challenging.
This Sunday Queens are at home to Airdrie Ladies at Palmerston. Kick off is at 2pm. Admission £2 (U16s free).
