Following the departure of Gavin Skelton, the club have secured the services of former Queens captain Graeme Robertson to assist Jim Thomson with coaching duties. Gavin last night took the decision to stand aside for personal reasons and the Board will now start the process of finding a replacement. Bringing Graeme in, gives them time to carry out the process whilst bringing a bit of stability to the club.
Graeme started his professional career at Palmerston and made nearly 250 league appearances, before leaving in 1987 to join Dunfermline where he played at the top level. He also had spells as a player with Partick Thistle and Ayr United. After giving up playing he has stayed involved in football as a coach at clubs including Livingston. Most recently he has been in China as part of the City Football Services scheme.
