Dumfries Run 4 Health 2014
Over 700 people are hoped to attend the Crichton this weekend for The Rotary Club of Dumfries Devorgilla’s Run4Health 2014 Sunday 29th June 2014 at The Crichton, Dumfries.. Registration opens at 9.30 am at Easterbrook Hall before the run itself at 11.00am. Just turn up on the day or register at www.run4health.co.uk to enter.
Fun is the key on this Commonwealth year, with special attention to fancy dress and group entries. It is not too late for your work, school or social group to turn up and take part. It is hoped with some fair weather it will be great fun day out for everyone taking part. Special prizes will be on offer for individuals and teams prizes, but remember this is not a competitive event it’s all about taking part and having fun!
There will be a health and activity fair within Easterbrook Hall including displays relating to this year’s excellent causes, with all of the money raised provided to local causes including:
Chest,Heart and Stroke Scotland
Dumfries and Galloway Carers Centre
Kaleidoscope Resource Centre – Support in Mind (Scotland)
SHAX – Dumfries
