The weather was fine at the start with a strong cold cross wind going to make handling difficult for both teams. The first scrum showed the power of the Sirens scrum as they pushed the West scrum back and down into a pile of bodies. Some good back possession saw for sirens saw Phaerda Snailham break clear to score at the
posts.

Lisa Ritchie added the points.7-0. The weather changed and the Sirens were now facing rain and sleet before Claire Manson scored the second try Ritchie again adding the points 14-0. An injury to fullback Hannah Sainsbury stopped the game and both teams enjoyed the warmth of the changing rooms before restarting after her treatment.

The second half saw the Sirens with the strong wind advantage and kept the pressure on the West Ali Henderson crashing over for the third try the conversion narrowly missed 19-0. Jenny Yates scored the bonus point fourth try out in the corner to great cheers from the crowd for the recent new Mum. Ritchie again added the points. 26-0.
With getting worse the referee asked if the players wanted to go on as the game was won but the ladies wanted to play on. Lisa Ritchie poached a try when after Sirens pressure a West defender dropped the ball in the goal area for Ritchie to touch down she then added the points for Sirens to win 33-0 and the bonus point putting the Sirens into second place with Ayr Ladies the visitors at Greenlaw next week and the chance of a final play
off game if the Sirens win.
