Two young Solway Shark players are heading to Quebec in February to take part in the Pee-wee tournament.
Maisie Simpson and Mollie Walker have been chosen to be part of the England team to play across the water which is a huge achievement in their sport but what makes it even more special is they are the part of the first girls team to ever take part.
The tournament will be host to teams from England, Austria, Canada, South Korea, United States, France, Hungary, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Switzerland and Ukraine.
The Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament is the most prestigious minor hockey tournament in the world. It takes place in the beautiful city of Quebec, at the Videotron Center and the Pavillon de la Jeunesse, and allows a hundred teams from all over the world to enjoy an unforgettable experience each year
