The Building Craftsmen Dumfries-sponsored Solway Sharks ice hockey team are delighted to announce that they are joining forces with one of the region’s top car dealerships in an exciting corporate partnership.
In a ground breaking arrangement that will see the Solway Sharks promote some of the motor industry’s leading manufacturers, in return Hyundai Dumfries, Skoda Dumfries and Toyota Dumfries will promote the Sharks through various advertising campaigns.
As the only leading senior amateur ice hockey team playing in the National Ice Hockey League the Sharks have been looking for a corporate partner to help promote the sport of ice hockey and see the three-car franchise of Hyundai, Skoda and Toyota Dumfries as the perfect fit, with their ethos of customer satisfaction being hugely important when tying up the deal.
The Edinburgh Road, Heathhall dealership plan to run prize draws in conjunction with the Solway Sharks throughout 2016 that could see the lucky winner drive away in a new car for the week or weekend along with other ice sport related prizes that will also benefit other ice user groups at Sharks’
home rink, Dumfries Ice Bowl.
Guests from the Skoda and Toyota dealerships were at the Sharks game with Whitley Warriors and presented man of the match awards. The Sharks look forward to welcoming Hyundai, Skoda and Toyota Dumfries to future games at the Ice Bowl and are excited to work with the company over the coming weeks and months.
These new partnerships will benefit all ice sport users at Dumfries Ice Bowl to increase participation and local use of the facility.
