Stewartry Sharks P7’s were invited to Scotstoun, the home of Glasgow Warriors on Friday 27th October for a pre-match tournament.
The fired up and confident Sharks team played very well indeed. Working together, passing, rucking and tackling with confidence earning them convincing wins against Allan Glen and GHA before suffereing a narrow defeat. Despite the defeat the Sharks had earned their place in the final on the main pitch at half time against Loch Lomond. The final ended in a scoreless draw.
A strong support travelled and were very proud indeed of how these players performed and conducted themselves representing their club.
A fantastic evening was topped off by former Stewartry Shark Stafford McDowall pulling on the Warriors jersey and coming on from the bench to make his Scotstoun debut against South Aftrican team Southern Kings.
Stafford took the time after the match to come over and greet the Sharks which delighted them all.
