Fiona who works for Robinsons Scotland Ltd in Lockerbie as General Manager told DGWGO Sports news – “Between June and December 2015 we had been competing to collect enough points to qualify for the Regional Winter dressage Championships.Once you qualify you can choose any of the eight Regional finals to compete at.
This weekend was the turn of the Scottish one held at Morris Equestrian centre in Ayrshire. To qualify for the British Dressage National Championships we had to win the class with a score over 65%.Devon was quite excited about the whole event and did well to just about keep a lid on it during the test.”
Fiona went on to say “I knew when we finished we had done the best we could on the day – but did not think it was good enough to win.
We were also fourth in the elementary restricted freestyle to music.”
Also competing from Dumfries and Galloway in Ayrshire this weekend were Isla Foley, Shona Morton, Emily Galloway and Dugald Forbes. Plus Kim Young from Clarebrand who won two classes and will also be heading to the British Dressage National Championships held at Hartpury College in Gloucester 6th-10th April 2016
