Queen of the South Ladies travelled to Stewarton for a league game on Sunday.
It took until the 40th minute for Queens to break the deadlock when Holly Ovens opened the scoring and Holly added a second goal 3 minutes later. Charlotte Smith scored Queens’ 3rd in the 54th minute and the scoring was completed when a Stewarton defender turned the ball into her own net. Full time Stewarton 0 Queens 4.
This Sunday, Queens take on Buchan Ladies who hail from Maud, near Peterhead, in a Scottish Cup second round tie. The games is at NWCC with a 2pm kick off.
