As a result of COVID-19 pandemic Dumfries and Galloway Council will only be carrying out Category 1 (Emergency) road repairs until further notice.
A Council spokesperson stated “Our local quarries will, within the next few days, be unable to supply us with the required materials to carry out pothole repairs and our resources require to be targeted at critical services.
We will continue to inspect our roads and any defects will be recorded and added to a future programme of works. We will do our best to programme and manage the repairs once things return to normal. We appreciate your patience in this regard.”
