Essential safety improvements to install close following / keep your distance signs on the A701 will take place from Monday 12th April until Friday 16th April 2021, between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm, each day.
The works will be carried out using single lane closures of the carriageway, which will be controlled by a combination of temporary two-way traffic signals or manual STOP/GO control. We thank road users for their patience while these essential improvements are underway.
Operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
