Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking overnight improvement works on the A76 between North Bargower to Crossroads. This scheme will take place from Monday 25th July to Saturday 30th July 2022, between 8pm and 6am, each night, with Temporary Traffic Lights (TTL) in place outwith these hours.
It is anticipated works will be complete by 6am Saturday 30th July 2022.
This work will be carried out using a convoy system to maintain traffic flow in the area.
The scheme with a value of £163,309 will benefit around 9,533 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in future.
Our operatives follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the current Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
