Due to continued heavy rain and saturated catchments flooding is possible this afternoon and into the evening from both the River Esk and Wauchope Water. The main areas at potential risk are the Langholm Parish Church area and from Thomas Telford Bridge down to the Waste Water Treatment Works including Waterside and George Street.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates if required.
