The Met Office has issued an Amber warning of heavy snow showers that will lead to transport disruption over parts of Southern Scotland for today Tuesday the 11th of February at 200pm through to 9.00pm this evening

- Some delays and cancellations to rail travel are likely
- There is a good chance that some rural communities could become cut off
- Power cuts are likely and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected
